WHAT WE MAKE
Real builds. Real projects.
STEAM Works members don’t just learn about making — they make things. Electronics, fabrication, coding, design, art, repair, and more.
THE WORK
What happens in the space.
⚡ Electronics & Wiring
Members wire, solder, and build simple circuits with real components and clear guidance.
🔧 Fabrication & Repair
Members measure, cut, fasten, and repair things so they can be used again.
💻 Coding & Digital Making
Members write simple programs, test them, and see their code drive real results on screen or in the space.
✂️ Design & Fabrication
Members sketch ideas, plan builds, and turn drawings into real, physical pieces.
🎨 Art & Mixed Media
Members paint, assemble, and combine materials to make pieces that mix art, light, motion, and structure.
🔬 Experimentation & Prototyping
Members test ideas, build rough versions, break things, and learn what to change next.
THE PROCESS
Messy, real, and sometimes unfinished.
Projects at STEAM Works aren’t polished presentations — they’re real work. Members start things, figure out problems, rebuild, and finish when the work is done. That’s the point.
Projects come from classes, challenges, and independent making.
Some projects take one session. Some take weeks.
Finished or not, the process is the learning.
